This Privacy Policy explains how the game Beauty of Symmetry (“the Game”, “we”, “us”) operated by ParaglidingNM Ing. Ivo Čierny handles information. We collect only the minimum data necessary for the Game to function. By installing or playing the Game, you agree to this Policy.
What We Collect
- Gameplay data: score/points, time, and basic session metrics needed to run the Game.
- Preferences: local settings such as sound/music on/off.
- Leaderboard: if you submit results, we store your score, time, and a display name you provide. A non-personal player identifier may be generated to prevent duplicate entries.
Where Data Is Stored
- On your device: most settings and a local copy of your latest result may be stored in your browser/app storage.
- Leaderboard backend (if you submit): score and time are stored on our database so that the leaderboard can function.
Offline Play & Pending Upload
If you are offline when submitting to the leaderboard, your result is kept locally as pending and is sent automatically once you reconnect.
How We Use Data
- To operate and improve the Game.
- To display high scores and rankings on the leaderboard.
- To remember your preferences.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We do not share data with third parties except hosting/service providers required to operate the Game.
Retention
Local device data remains until you clear it. Leaderboard entries remain for the lifetime of the leaderboard or until removed during routine maintenance.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data; however, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children
The Game is suitable for a general audience and does not intentionally collect personal information from children.
Your Choices
- You can clear local data via your browser/app settings.
- You can choose not to submit to the leaderboard.
- You may request removal of a leaderboard entry by contacting us.
